Library is the heart of the JNV. It is essential in teaching and learning for all. It provides information and ideas that are fundamental to function successfully in today’s knowledge society. It helps in equipping students with life-long learning skills enabling them to live as responsible citizens. It offers learning services, books and resources that enable all school members to become critical thinkers and effective users of information in all formats & media.

Navodaya Vidyalaya, Arnora ghat (Dist: Doda) organized a Book Exhibition On
23rd of April, 2022 in order to familiar students towards new books procured during
the previous financial session 2021-22.
The
exhibition of books was conducted in the vidyalaya Library under Azadi ka Amrit
Mahotsav. It was inaugurated at the hands of Principal, Mr. Dharampal Sharma
along with senior teaching staff.
The
main purpose of this exhibition was to acquaint and familiarize the students of
the collection available in library. This is one way to inculcate and
promote reading habits amongst the young readers of this vidyalaya.
More than 400 titles were displayed. Approx. 200+ readers
took benefit of the exhibition. Feedback was also taken from the readers. Many
suggestions came from faculty members as well as students, which would be
incorporated in the following book exhibitions.
